Wayne Goodman is a Michigan short-track racing photographer and the face behind Just a Fan in the Stands Photography. What started as a hobby in 2023 at Owosso Speedway quickly turned into something much bigger. As a lifelong race fan , Wayne brought his passion for short track racing behind the lens, capturing the intensity, speed and emotion of Michigan grassroots racing. In 2024 , Owosso Speedway selected Wayne to serve as track photographer , a role he proudly held for almost nearly two seasons. During that time , he built strong relationships within the racing community while documenting countless feature wins , celebrations and unforgettable moments. After stepping away to expand his opportunities, Wayne in entering the 2026 racing season as the official photographer for multiple race teams and drivers at Owosso Speedway and tracks throughout Michigan. From the grandstands to the infield , Wayne continues to prove that sometimes the best stories start as "Just a Fan in the Stands."
