5th Annual Kate Hutson Late Model Show Postponed to October

Mt Pleasant, MI - The 5th Annual Kate Hutson Late Model Show, originally scheduled for Friday, September 4th, at Mt Pleasant Speedway in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, has been postponed to Saturday, October 3rd, due to a poor weather forecast for Friday night.

The event was slated to host Super Late Models for $3,333 to win, IMCA Modifieds for $1,300 to win, Pro Stocks for $800 to win, and Street Stocks for $800 to win.

The race had drawn a loaded field of drivers, with 26 officially committed to the race, according to the Speedway's Facebook page.

The Speedway notes that the World 100 from Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, is this weekend, and the IMCA Super Nationals in Boone, IA is the following weekend, making a closer raindate a logistical challenge. Race organizers are hopeful that the October reschedule date will give teams time to turn around from other year-end-specials to be ready for the Kate Hutson Late Model Show.
