Brother/Sister Duo Win Galesburg Track Championships
Galesburg, MI - We’ve seen several members of the same family across the state of Michigan earn track championships at the same track over the years. Galesburg Speedway saw it in 2026 with a brother and sister ending the season as champions in their respective divisions.
In his second year in a Street Stock, Bo Brady outlasted Colin Bozell and fellow Mad Dog Racing driver Chris Garrett for his first-ever track championship. He picked up his first two career Street Stock feature wins back-to-back in June and used those two wins to end the season on top of the points standings.
Not to be outdone by her brother, Bri Brady also picked up her first track championship in the FWD C division. A feature win on May 30 highlighted a year of consistency for the driver from nearby Augusta, as she joined her brother as a Galesburg Speedway track champion.
Meanwhile, a back-and-forth battle in the Limited Late Models ended with Jerry Pierman crowned the track champion. The former Springport Mid Michigan Speedway track champion won six features while finishing outside the top-five just once. He now has eight total track championships in his career after finishing ahead of 15-year-old Anthony Foote and Kalamazoo Speedway Limited LM track champion Jerry Osterhouse.
A disqualification on July 11 may have decided the FWD A track championship. 2025 champion Will Slaughter won six of the 13 features at Galesburg this season, but it was Ryan Allen picking up the track championship by season’s end. The Battle Creek native won two features and dethroned the five-time Galesburg champion Slaughter by 53 points.
At 15 years old, Braydyn Loop became one of the youngest track champions in Galesburg Speedway history as he picked up the FWD B title. A run of consistency and several appearances in A Features helped lead to his first track championship in his fourth season of racing.
The 2026 season at Galesburg Speedway is complete.
