MARNE, MI - In a social media post made on Tuesday, officials from Berlin Raceway announced, in conjunction with Cleetus McFarland, and new Late Model Series that will debut at Berlin Raceway in August. The Cleetus McFarland's Late Model Series will host a $20,000 to win race on Saturday, August 15th.

Rumor of the show was making the rounds in the pit area during the Money in the Bank 150 at Berlin back in June. The announcement on Tuesday confirms many of the details that had been circulating. The $20,000 to win race for the Super Late Models comes just three days after Berlin Raceway's $40,000 to win Battle at Berlin. Both races will utilize the UARA National Rules and the F45* Hoosier Racing Tire.

"We are incredibly excited about the opportunity to host Cleetus for the weekend, and the Late Model race being added on Saturday night makes it that much better," said Berlin Raceway President, Mike Bursley. "We look forward to an action-packed week with Cleetus participating in our Tekton 250 Battle at Berlin on Wednesday, followed by a couple of nights of the Freedom Factory event to cap it off Friday and Saturday. With almost $200,000 in purses across those events, it will be one that drivers, teams, and fans won't want to miss."

The Cleetus McFarland's Late Model Series race will be 75 laps in distance and a four-tire race. Tire selection is based on the order that entries are received. The show's total purse is $55,580, with the $20,000 top prize and $1,100 to start.
