Jonesville, MI - After a slow start to the season for select divisions at Mid Michigan Raceway Park and Mount Pleasant Speedway, officials with each track are weighing their options moving forward with the 2026 season.

At Mid Michigan Raceway Park, officials announced on Tuesday that they would be dropping the Modified division due to a "lack of cars". Last year, the division struggled to pull more than five cars per night, aside from specials at the end of the year. The division's rules were based on B-Modifieds/IMCA Modifieds, although they did not have a specific designation or sanction.

Meanwhile, Mount Pleasant Speedway put out a post on Monday night looking for interest in bringing back a Four Cylinder Division. The class was scrapped in the offseason due to a low car count and replaced with a Crown Vic division. In the first two nights of racing, three Crown Vics have unloaded to race.

At this time, Four Cylinders have not been added to the remaining schedule at Mount Pleasant Speedway, while discussion remains popular on Facebook. As for Mid Michigan Raceway Park, they have not announced any additional changes to the nightly line-up of racing.
