Flat Rock, MI - Take I-94 East from the Detroit Metropolitan Airport, then turn south on US-24, and you’ll run into Metro Detroit’s Flat Rock Speedway. The “Level Pebble” has many nicknames, but on Saturday, June 7th, it’ll be known as the Late Model capital of Michigan with a rescheduled Joy Fair Memorial for Outlaw Super Late Models alongside the Turn One CRA Pro Series Presented by Chevrolet Performance and the Motor City 125.
Nearly two dozen cars are entered for the second race of the 2026 season for the CRA Pro Series, coming just three weeks after the season began at Owosso Speedway with the Big O’ Classic 100. Treyton Lapcevich got the season started as a winner with CRA; however, a new winner on the season is expected according to the current entry list.

Plenty of “East Side” drivers are entered for Saturday’s race at Flat Rock, a place that many of the regulars with the CRA Pro Series have called home before. Go back 18 years to 2008, when a 21-year-old, Justin Schroeder, collected his first career Outlaw Super Late Model win at Flat Rock. Since then, he’s collected countless wins, including multiple Joy Fair Memorial 100s, and is a former Flat Rock Speedway track Champion. Last year, Schroeder was contending for the race win late when a spin from the lead put him to the tail of the field before he rebounded for a seventh-place finish.
A fellow Metro-Detroiter, Kevin Cremonesi of Rochester Hills, Michigan, also calls Flat Rock home. In 2024, Cremonesi captured his best finish of the season at Flat Rock, coming home one spot shy of a podium in fourth. Other drivers from “Metro” include those like Jimmy Tucker, Guy Fire, Michael Simko, and Evan Varney, who are all entered for Saturday’s Motor City 125. For 2024 Rookie of the Year, Chase Pinsonneault, Belle River, Ontario, Canada, isn’t exactly Metro Detroit, but it is the closest race on the 2026 schedule for the Pinsonneault fans and family.
Last year, Pinsonneault survived a dramatic race that was filled with bumper-to-bumper action, door banging, lapped traffic, and in the end, hurt feelings. Schroder and Pinsonneault traded the lead three times in the final 50 laps, with Pinsonneault taking the lead for good on lap 117 en route to the win by over three seconds.
One ticket on Saturday night not only gets fans the thrill of the Turn One CRA Pro Series Presented by Chevrolet Performance, but the rescheduled Joy Fair Memorial 100 for the Outlaw Super Late Models. Like the CRA Pro Series, nearly two-dozen drivers are entered for the Outlaw portion of the night as well.
