Mt Pleasant Speedway Releases 2026 Schedule

Mt Pleasant, MI - Officials with Mt Pleasant Speedway have released the 2026 schedule. The calendar features 22 nights of racing, including a Mini Wedge Sunday show each month.


The new season is set to officially begin on Friday, April 24th with a pair of Practice nights on April 11th and 18th. In 2026, a Full Show will feature IMCA Modifieds, Pro Stocks, IMCA Stock Cars, Crown Vics, and Mini Wedges.


A few special events are scattered across the Mt Pleasant Speedway schedule including a Goin' Green Trophies and Awards Best Lookin Car Award on May 8th and Great Lakes Lightning Sprints on Friday, May 22nd. The Great Lakes Lightning Sprints return on Friday, June 5th and an autograph night is on the card for Friday, June 12th.


The second half of the schedule starts with Great Lakes Lightning Sprints on Friday, July 3rd. The following week, it's $10 admission night. The Great Lakes Traditional Sprints make their only stop of the season on Friday, July 18th before a week off on Friday, July 24th. Old Timers Night welcomes fans back to the track on Friday, July 31st.


The 15th Annual Jake Dickman Night is Friday, August 7th followed by the McKenzie Memorial Night on Friday, August 14th. The Great Lakes Lightning Sprints are back on Friday, August 21st alongside an IMCA Modifieds Fast Shafts Qualifier night. Season Championship night is Friday, August 28th.


The Katie Hutson Late Model show is Friday, September 4th with a TBA on the schedule for Friday, September 11th. Racing at Mt Pleasant Speedway is set for 7:00 PM each Friday night. Gates open at 5:00 PM. Find Mt Pleasant Speedway on Facebook for more information.
