Jones, MI - The start of the 2026 season is here for West Michigan's Russell's M-40 Speedway. The gates will swing open for the Spring/Summer season thanks to a show from Great Lakes Racing Promotions. The Saturday, April 11th program is headlined by the Ohio Wheelman Super Stocks and Ohio Wheelman Juicebox (karts), alongside the Midwest Dirt Compact Touring Series, Factory Ford/Crown Vics, and Lawnmowers.

Pits open at 12:00 PM for the afternoon of racing that features a $2,000 winner's share for the Ohio Wheelman with $200 up for grabs to start the event. The race on Saturday is the first of two planned visits for the Ohio Wheelman group to Michigan, with another stop at corrigan Oil Speedway planned for June 5th.

The Mize 30 is the main event for the Midwest Dirt Compact Touring Series. Nearly two-dozen drivers are pre-entered for the event that offers a $500 payday to the winner and $100 to start.

Likewise, the Super Troopers, Crown Vics and Factor Fords are going head-to-head on Saturday night. A melting pot of four-door Ford Motor Company "tanks" from tracks like Hartford Speedway, Mt. Lawn, and other area tracks mixes together at Russell's M-40 Speedway. $550 is up for grabs to win the Royal Pursuit Triple Crown with $100 to start the event.

Saturday's racing from Russell's M-40 Speedway is set to begin at 5:00 PM. Tickets are available at the gate on race day. For more information, visit NationalCompacts.com.
