Rescheduled Great Lakes Nationals Concludes 2026 Michigan Racing Season

CRYSTAL, MI - The final race of 2026 in the state of Michigan is Saturday night in Crystal, MI with the rescheduled Great Lakes Nationals championship night at Crystal Motor Speedway.  Saturday night’s event is a makeup event from the weekend of September 18-19.


All weekly divisions will be in action Saturday night, which includes Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Pro Stocks, IMCA Stock Cars, Bombers, and Mini Wedges.  The first five rows for all features on the big track have been set, with some complete feature lineups already sorted out.


The headlining Late Model division will have Logan Love and Mike Vandermark Jr on the front row for the A-Feature.  Other front row starters include Nate Jones and Kody Johnson (IMCA Mods), Katie Robinson and Kyle Hunt (Pro Stocks), Derrick Wyatt, Josh Loomis, and Gary Buskirk (IMCA Stock Cars), and James Snyder and Kraton Ward (Bombers).  Complete IMCA Stock Car and Bomber lineups are set, with the Stock Cars starting their feature three-wide.


The IMCA Modified feature is a IMCA Fast Shafts Qualifier paying $5,000 to win.  The Late Models pay $4,000 to win, while $2,000 is up for grabs in the Pro Stock and Stock Car features, while Bombers will be racing for $1,000 to win.


Night one of the Great Lakes Nationals was completed on its original date of September 18 before rain came and moved night two to this Saturday night.  Travis Stemler (Late Models), Brenten DeYoung (IMCA Modifieds), Kyle Hunt (Pro Stocks), Mike Vandermark Jr (IMCA Stock Cars), and Gabe Geselman (Bombers) won features on night one last month.


Grandstand gates open at 2:00, with racing on the big track at Crystal is slated to begin at 5:00 Saturday night.  Mini Wedges will complete their program at 3:00.  Tickets can be purchased on the Ticket Hoss app or at the gate.
