Silver Bullet Speedway Announces 2026 Schedule of Events

Owendale, MI - Officials with Silver Bullet Speedway have announced their tentative 2026 schedule. A total of 19 race nights dot the schedule, which includes visits from the Great Lakes Super Sprints, Great Lakes Traditional Sprints, Late Model specials, and regular divisions of IMCA Modifieds, Pro Late Models, Michigan Street Stocks, Road Warriors, and Mini Wedges.

The 73rd Season of racing begins on Saturday, April 25th, with the regular five classes and a special visit from the All American Truck Serie,s which is typically found at Birch Run Speedway and Owosso Speedway.

In May, the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints roll into town on Saturday the 2nd, Spectator Drags and a Best Lookin Car Contest are part of the fun on May 9th. The Case Hoonhout Memorial is Saturday, May 16th, offering $1,500 to win for Michigan Street Stocks. IMCA Modifieds race in a Fast Shafts Qualifier for $1,000 to win on May 23rd, along with another special visit from the American Trucks. The month ends on Saturday, May 30th, with another visit from the Great Lakes Lighting Sprints.

Saturday, June 6th, is the first Autograph Night of the season. The Silver Bullet Speedway Hall of Fame induction night is Saturday, June 13th, with Inflatable Dinosaur Races the following week on Saturday, June 20th. The first Late Model Extravaganza of the season is Saturday, June 27th alongside another visit from the American Trucks. Late Models will race for $3,000 to win on an "open" tire rule.

One of the only tracks in the region expected to race on Saturday, July 4th, the Great Lakes Traditional Sprints are in town accompanied by a Fireworks Night. On Saturday, July 11th, it's Kid's night with Bike Races and $5 entry for all kids. Spectator Drags and Shopping Cart Races are part of the entertainment on Saturday, July 18th. Saturday, July 25th, All American Trucks are back, and it's topless night at the Bullet. The schedule says that only the race cars are permitted to go topless.

In August, the second Late Model Extravaganza of the season is on Saturday, August 1st, with another $3,000 to win on the line. It's also Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club night. On Saturday, August 8th, the Great Lakes Super Sprints head to Owendale for their annual visit. Fan Appreciation Night and Autograph Night number two is Saturday, August 15th with a $10 front gate price. A week off on Saturday, August 22nd before the Great Lakes Traditional Sprints return on Saturday, August 29th.

The final race of the season is Saturday, September 5th with doubles as Championship Night for all five regular classes and the All American Trucks.
