Jonesville, MI - On Saturday, November 14th, 20 of the most talented race car drivers from across the region will convene in Clio, Michigan for the Inaugural Horsepower Happenings All-Star Invitational Presented by Extreme Indoor Kart Racing and Entertainment Center. The race brings some of the best drivers from different disciplines across the region to race against each other for a chance at cash prizes.

The next driver confirmed for the Invitational is five-time Great Lakes Traditional Sprints Champion, Steve Irwin. A veteran in open-wheel competition, Irwin is known most recently for his domination in non-wings around the Great Lakes region. An eight-win season in 2021 launched a run of winning seasons for five consecutive years, after being held out of victory lane in 2020.

A well-respected mind in Sprint Car setup and race craft, Irwin spent years on the road with national-level teams before settling into more regional assignments. Irwin's career is almost perfect in Michigan, holding a win at every active (and inactive) dirt track in the state, excluding Tri City Motor Speedway in Auburn, Michigan.

The Fenton, Michigan native joins fellow Horsepower Happenings All-Stars Chase Burda, Travis Stemler, and David McManus on the official list of drivers entered for the Invitational on Saturday, November 14th. In addition to the 20 all-star drivers from around the region, five "ringers" will be a part of the show. The two fastest drivers from the month of September and the three fastest drivers from the month of October at Extreme Indoor Karting will get an invitation to try to join the field.

The event is open to the public to attend and enjoy the races. Fans who can't make the trip can watch the action LIVE on www.GreatLakesSprints.TV.
