Toledo, OH - In 2011, Champion Racing Association saw a need for an established Pro Late Model sanctioning body for the Great Lakes Region and the greater Midwest. In 2023, after growing to a national level of recognition, the organization was sold to Track Enterprises, ushering in a new era that brought excitement and anticipation to the 2024 season. At the end of 2025, MDM Promotions became the new backer of the sanctioning body, and again, the industry eagerly awaits the start of another chapter; this one titled the Turn One CRA Pro Series Presented by Chevrolet Performance.
As it did in 2011, Toledo Speedway will usher in a historic moment for Pro Late Model Racing when the first laps are turned under new ownership, new sponsorship, but with similar leadership. Currently, 21 drivers are registered and ready to race for 100 laps around northern Ohio’s Glass City.

A dozen full-time teams are registered with the CRA Pro Series for the 2026 season, including 2024 CRA Champion, Blake Rowe. The Clarkston, Michigan native won in his CRA Pro Series debut during the opening event at Berlin Raceway in his Championship campaign and has a deep history with Toledo Speedway. Rowe is a former winner of the Glass City 200 with the ASA/CRA Super Series, winning in his debut with the Super Series in 2021.Â
Chase Pinsonneault is back on the CRA Pro Series full-time in 2026 after a Pepper Jack Kennels Rookie of the Year Championship in 2024. The Belle River, ON, CAN driver finished second in Series’ points with a mathematical chance to steal the title in the final race at Winchester Speedway. Pinsonneault is a three-time winner with CRA, including a 2024 Big O Classic 100 win, a 2025 Owosso Nationals victory, and a win at Toledo Speedway’s sister-track, Flat Rock Speedway, in last season’s Diversified Excavating 125.Â
Defending CRA Pro Series Champion, Billy VanMeter is also entered for Toledo Speedway. The Indianapolis, Indiana native returns in his EDCO Welding No.23. VanMeter grabbed his first career CRA Pro Series win last year at Auto City en route to his title.Â
The CRA Pro Series regulars will have to deal with plenty of other regional talent on Saturday night, including the defending Berlin Raceway and Battle at Berlin Champion, Austin Hull. Multi-time Flat Rock Speedway Outlaw Super Late Model Champion, Justin Schroeder is looking to defend the home turf this weekend, as is Gabrielle Grigsby, a former Toledo Speedway Late Model Sportsman Rookie of the Year.Â
The House of Meats 100 for the Turn One CRA Pro Series Presented by Chevrolet Performance is Saturday, April 18 at Toledo Speedway. The Turn One CRA Pro Series will be joined by the 350 Outlaw Super Modifieds, Late Model Sportsman, and Factor Stocks. CRA Qualifying begins at 1:00 PM, with racing at 3:00 PM. Advanced tickets are available at ToledoSpeedway.com. The race will be aired live on TrackTV.Â
