Travis Stemler Confirmed for Inaugural Horsepower Happenings All-Star Invitational

Jonesville, MI - On Saturday, November 14th, 20 of the most talented race car drivers from across the region will convene in Clio, Michigan for the Inaugural Horsepower Happenings All-Star Invitational Presented by Extreme Indoor Kart Racing and Entertainment Center. The race brings some of the best drivers from different disciplines across the region to race against each other for a chance at cash prizes.

The next driver confirmed for the thrilling one-of-a-kind event is 2026 I-96 Speedway DIRTcar UMP Late Model Champion, Travis Stemler. An 11-time winner in the state in 2026, Stemler has been one of the toughest drivers to beat in our region in recent years. In his 29 starts this season, Stemler has finished inside the top five 21 times, and inside the top 10 25 times.

Since 2023, Stemler's stat line has only gotten better. A four-win season in 2023 with victories at Winston, Crystal, and Merritt Speedways, before an eight-win season in 2024 replacing Winston with I-96 Speedway; a 14-win season in 2025 with wins at Tri City Motor Speedway, Crystal, I-96, Thunderbird, and Silver Bullet Speedway, and this year's 11-win season, so far.

Stemler's Late Model career is already a decade old, but many longtime dirt fans in the area will remember Stemler's tenure as a standout Modified driver. The 2015 Eldora Speedway track champion drove his "blue duece" to countless modified wins before making the jump to dirt late models.

The Ionia, Michigan native joins fellow Horsepower Happenings All-Stars Chase Burday and David McManus on the official list of drivers entered for the Invitational on Saturday, November 14th. In addition to the 20 all-star drivers from around the region, five "ringers" will be a part of the show. The two fastest drivers from the month of September and the three fastest drivers from the month of October at Extreme Indoor Karting will get an invitation to try to join the field.
