Tri City Motor Speedway (MI) Announces Key Dates for 2026 Season

Auburn, MI - Officials with Tri City Motor Speedway have announced key dates for the 2026 campaign which targets one of the earliest opening nights in recent Speedway history. The 2026 season will include Michigan Late Models, B-Mods, Pro Stocks, Street Stocks, Bomber Stocks, and Mini Wedges. The key dates released preview a full 2026 schedule which should be released soon.

The first on track action of the season is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1st (no fooling) for a Test and Tune from 5:00 PM until dark. Test and Tunes will continue the next two weeks leading up to the scheduled Season Opener on Friday, April 24th.

A Rear Wheel Drive Figure 8 is on tap on Friday May 8th, before the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints are in town on Friday May 15th. A fireworks display is scheduled for Saturday, May 16th.

The Great Lakes Super Sprints make their first trip of the season to Tri City on Friday, June 12th. A Rear Wheel Drive Figure 8 is scheduled again on Friday, June 19th and another Firework Show highlights the schedule on Friday, July 3rd.

It's Fan Appreciation Night on Friday, July 10th with just a $10 General Admission. Great Lakes Lightning Sprints return on Friday, July 17th. The Kid's End of Summer Bash is Friday, July 31st featuring a bookbag giveaway.

Championship Night is scheduled for Friday, September 4th.

Gates open at Tri City at 5:30 PM each Friday night, with racing at 7:55 PM.
