Attica has pulled the plug for Saturday, March 21’s season opener after previously postponing to Saturday from the original Friday date.  Unsafe track conditions have prompted the cancellation after large amounts of rain and snow over the past couple weeks.

“Due to unsafe track conditions, we are forced to cancel tomorrow’s (March 21) race,” said Attica Raceway Park Director of Operations Justin Liskai

. “There’s just too much moisture under the track to put on a safe race, and we don’t want to risk tearing up a bunch of race cars on night one. We’ll lick our wounds and try again next week.”

The 2026 season opener is now scheduled for Friday, March 27 with a rain date of Saturday, March 28.  410 Sprint Cars, UMP Late Models, and 305 Sprints are all scheduled to be in action.
