Marne, MI - The list of accolades continues to get longer for Tim DeVos.

Along with winning his fifth Berlin Raceway track championship in four different divisions and growing his all-time wins mark at the 7/16ths mile oval, he also earned the 2026 NASCAR Local Racing Series Division III National Championship.

He moved down to the track’s Sportsman division, where he won 12 out of 21 features during the course of the season.  The 70-year-old Comstock Park, MI native now sits at 127 feature wins at Berlin, the most all-time at a track that has seen names like Bob Senneker, Mike Eddy, Fred Campbell, and two generations of Benson’s find success over long periods of times.

Along with his 10 feature wins in the Sportsman division, he also broke the 12-year-old Outlaw Super Late Model track record during the Reveal The Hammer show on July 4 (a record that has since been broken by Tyler Roahrig).  He finished third in the Reveal The Hammer finale on September 12.

Additionally, DeVos scored 448 points in 2026, the most out of any driver out of all five divisions.

DeVos now has two NASCAR Local Racing Series national championships, the other coming in 2022 in Division II.  That season, he won 10 out of 24 features on his way to the Limited Late Model track title alongside the national title in Division II.

He was joined in the top-five in Division III national points by Tom Thomas, another multi-time Berlin track champion and a former Kalamazoo Klash winner.  Fellow Berlin Sportsman competitors Scott Baker and Brian Thome finished in the top-ten in national points.

DeVos and all the NASCAR Local Racing Series champions will be celebrated on Friday, Novamber 20 at the NASCAR Local Racing Series awards banquet in Charlotte, NC.
