CRA Pro Series Returns to Birch Run Speedway Friday Night

Birch Run, MI - July 31st will see the return of the Turn One CRA Pro Series to Birch Run Speedway with the running of the VanDoorn Racing Development Dixie 100.  Since 2011, the Series has had a slew of different winners, with three drivers visiting victory lane on multiple occasions.

Cody Coughlin and Kyle Crump are both two-time winners, with Coughlin securing victories in 2013 and 2021, while Crump’s Wins came in 2022 and 2023.  Current NASCAR Cup Series competitor and winner at Talladega, Carson Hocevar, tallied wins in 2017 and two (July 2nd and September 10th) in 2022.

Other winners from the Series' visits to Birch Run include: Eddie Hoffman (2011), Daniel Hemric (2012), Dan Leeck (2015), Brian Campbell (2018), Bubba Pollard (2018), Johnny VanDoorn (2019), Chase Burda (May 13th, 2023), and Ethan Stadniczuk (July 1st, 2023).

Blake Rowe is the defending winner of the event and will be joined by current point leader Chase Pinsonnault, Billy VanMeter, Albert Francis, Sam Johnson, Kevin Cremonesi, Michael Simko, Chloe Mazzagatti, Will Sahutske, Tyler Lupton, and many more battling to take home the checkers at the end of the 100-lap affair.

Also on the card will be the track’s O’Guinn Family Funeral Homes Modifieds and the Showcase Auto Sales Street Stocks.  The Modifieds will run a 35-lap feature, and the Street Stocks will battle for 25 laps.

Spectator gates are slated to open at 4, with Turn One CRA Pro Series qualifying at 6 and O’Guinn Family Funeral Homes Modifieds heat races set to roll at 6:30, followed by the Showcase Auto Sales Street Stock heats.  There is an autograph session for the Turn One CRA Pro Series at 7, followed by pre-race ceremonies and then the VanDoorn Racing Development Dixie 100.  The O’Guinn Family Funeral Homes Modifieds and the Showcase Auto Sales Street Stocks will follow with their 35 and 25-lap affairs.
