Crystal Motor Speedway Releases 2026 Schedule

Crystal, MI - Officials with Crystal Motor Speedway have released the 2026 schedule of events which features over 30 race nights plus special events throughout the season and at the end of the year. A regular schedule that includes Super Late Models, Pro Stocks, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks, Bombers, and Mini Wedges.


The season begins with a weekend Test and Tune on Saturday and Sunday, April 4th and 5th. Opening night is planned for Saturday, April 11th that begins with a Mud Bog at 11:00 AM and racing beginning at 7:00 PM. Saturday, April 18th, another regular show is in store before the Great Lakes Super Sprints unload on Saturday, April 25th.


A full regular show awaits on Saturday, May 2nd. The Great Lakes Lightning Sprints are on the card on Saturday, May 9th, with a Mother's Day Special. All mom's are eligible to enter to win a door prize. The Midwest compact Touring Series joins the racing on Saturday, May 16th and the Monster Truck Throwdown is Saturday, May 17th. Memorial Day weekend features something for everyone, with the Great Lakes Super Sprints taking center stage on Saturday, May 23rd and the Valvoline American Late Model Iron Man Series races for $10,000 to win on Sunday, May 24th. May closes out on Saturday, May 30th with a Kid's Night featuring Autographs in the pits. A Mud Bog kicks things off again at 11:00 AM.


Mid Season Championships are slated for Saturday, June 6th with a Schools Out Extravaganza Mini Wedge Invitational on Sunday, June 7th. The 4th Annual Hall of Fame Night is on Saturday, June 13th and also welcomes in the Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club with the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints. The Michigan Mini Wedge Touring Series is on hand on Sunday, June 14th.


A massive weekend is in store for the middle of June thanks to the 9th Annual Dan Salay Memorial. An Open Practice starts the weekend on Wednesday, June 17th before the Thirlby Throwdown Late Model invitational on Thursday, June 18th. Qualifier Night is Friday, June 19th and the $11K to win Dan Salay Memorial Summer Classic is Saturday, June 20th.


A Mud Bog and Saturday night racing double are scheduled for Saturday, June 27th to close out the month.


Saturday, July 4th another regular Saturday night show is on the schedule ahead of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour paying $10K to win for DIRTcar UMP Late Models on Friday, July 10th. The following night, Crystal will celebrate Christmas in July with the second Kid's Night of the season. Lebo's Birthday Bash is Saturday, July 18th featuring a $2,242 Street Stock Invitational alongside a Fireworks Display. The Michigan Mini Wedge Touring Series is on hand on July 19th. The Great Lakes Super Sprints are back on July 25th to close out the month.


August kicks off on Saturday the first with the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints headlining the Paul Rice/Uncle Mark Memorial Pure Stock Special. It's also Healthcare Night, offering free general admission to nurses, CNAs, doctors, and EMTs. A Mud Bog kicks off the day at 11:00 AM. The American Big Rigs roll into town on Saturday, August 8th for their first ever trip to Crystal. Saturday, August 15th is the Ron Flinn 52 Late Model Special paying $3,552 to win. A regular show is scheduled for Saturday, August 22nd before the Season Championships on Saturday, August 29th. The Michigan Mini Wedge Touring Series is on hand on Saturday, August 30th.


A doubleheader weekend is on hand for Labor Day Weekend. Saturday, September 5th the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints and Super Late Models take center stage before the Great Lakes Super Sprints Championship race on Sunday, September 6th. Outlaw Super Late Models and Run What You Brung are also on the Sunday card. Finally, Great Lakes Nationals wraps up the circle track season September 17th-19th.


The 2026 season features changes to the weekly racing line-up with the removal of a regular Front Wheel Drive Division, and the inclusion of IMCA Stock Cars and a new Bomber class designed to resurrect the full framed, steel bodied, full size stock cars.
