Five Worthy Kart Racers Will Join Horsepower Happenings All-Star Invitational Field

Clio, MI - The Inaugural Horsepower Happenings All-Star Invitational Presented by Extreme Indoor Kart Racing & Entertainment Center will bring over two dozen of the area's best short track drivers to one track on Saturday, November 14th at the Extreme Indoor Kart Center. Joining those 20 real-world race car drivers, will be five drivers who prove they have what it takes to go fast at Extreme Indoor Kart Center. Together, the 25 competitors will battle for a chance at hundreds of dollars of prize money.

All-Star invitations are being selected by the Horsepower Happenings staff as the event draws closer. In the meantime, performance on the Extreme Indoor Kart track will determine the five additional racers for the first-of-its-kind event. The fastest two adult drivers (15+ years old) overall at the end of September will be granted an invite to the All-Star Invitational. Then, at the end of October, the three fastest adult drivers (15+ years old) overall at the end of the month, will also be invited. This pits the best talent in full-sized competition against drivers who understand the Extreme Indoor Karts better than anyone.

"I think it'll be a great way to level the playing field," said event promoter, Zach Hiser. "These Horsepower Happenings All-Star Invitational drivers are some of the best in the region, if not the country; they can drive anything. So, five 'ringers' in the Kart world could really spice up the show."

On Saturday, drivers will turn practice laps to help set their draw order and align their Heat Races before the field is whittled down to a final starting field. Fans are also invited to attend the event, with seating available to watch the races, an arcade, prize games, skee ball, billiards, air hockey, and more.
