KALAMAZOO, MI - On Sunday, officials with Kalamazoo Speedway announced the official weekly payouts for their four "house" divisions in 2026. Fans will become familiar with their regular divisions of (Template) Late Models, Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, and Front Wheel Drives.

The Late Models have become the staple headliner for Kalamazoo Speedway over the past few seasons after Outlaw Late Models were removed from the regular schedule. Teams can look forward to a standard purse that features a $1,500 to win top prize and $300 to start.

Limited Late Models, which were the economical answer to getting new people in and keeping old cars on the track, have quickly become popular across the state at tracks like Berlin, Russell's M-40, and Birch Run. At Kalamazoo, Limited Late Models will race for $1,200 to win and $250 to start.

Arguably, one of the most entertaining classes on a weekly basis, at most any pavement track in the MARC region, is the street stocks. The steel-bodied muscle cars put on a show for $1,000 to win in the A-Main and $200 to start; $350 to win the B-Main and $125 to start.

Once known as an entry-level division, the Front Wheel Drives continue to become faster and faster across the country. A Feature cars will race for $100 to start and $350 to win. B-Main cars $200 to win and $75 to start, with C Feature cars earning $100 to win and $60 to start.

All classes will get a Heat Race bonus in 2026. Win the race, $25, then $15, $10, and $5.

Kalamazoo Speedway also recently launched its new website at www.KalamazooSpeedway.com. Rules, schedule, and other information is posted there. The 2026 season begins with the return of the Outlaw Super Late Models on Friday, April 17th for the Intimidator 100! A full Kalamazoo Speedway schedule can be found on the Rolodex tab of MARCNews.org.
