MARC Region Drivers Prepare for World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL - For many across the country, the official start of Florida Speedweeks is the first week of February. One of the main kick-off events of the new season of racing is the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway. The World Series features nine straight nights of racing at New Smyrna Speedway highlighting asphalt racing's many different divisions like Tour Modifieds, Super & Pro Late Models, Florida Modifieds, 602 Modifieds, Sprint Cars, Pro Trucks, Sportsman, and other local divisions. This year, racing takes place February 6th through the 14th.
The MARC Region has a number of drivers to keep an eye on throughout the nine nights of action. Here's who we know will be in attendance this week.
Pro Late Models:
In action on Friday, February 6th, Sunday, February 8th, Monday, February 9th, Tuesday, February 10th, Wednesday, February 11th, and Thursday, February 12th, the Pro Late Models have perhaps the most grueling schedule at the World Series. Here is who we know is headed down to partake:

Florida Modifieds:
Racing on Wednesday, February 11th, Thursday, February 12th, and Friday, February 13th, the Florida Modifieds are another division with a tough schedule at the World Series.

Modifieds of Mayhem:
The Modifieds of Mayhem Tour will be in action on Saturday, February 14th for the final day of the World Series. They'll race in a 60 lap main event. Here's a list of known entrants so far:

Super Late Model:
Super Late Models will spend some time at New Smyrna Speedway this week. In addition to the New Smyrna sanctioned races, the ASA STARS National Tour sanctions the Clyde Hart Memorial on Tuesday, February 10th, which is currently the only Super Late Model race that features entries from MARC region drivers.
