Jonesville, MI - The "hotbed" for sprint car racing seems to be a revolving door depending on what's going on in the industry. Some weeks it's Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, IA, other times it's Rossburg, Ohio's Eldora Speedway, and in February, it's Volusia Speedway Park in De Leon Springs, Florida. But over the next 10 days, the state of Michigan takes center stage with four different sanctions across four days at four different race tracks.

The action starts on Friday, May 29th, at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan. Quickly becoming one of Michigan's regular hosts of premier events, the West Michigan facility keeps pace with their traditions by hosting the Great Lakes Super Sprints. Battling weather early in 2026, GLSS has yet to unload at I-96 Speedway this season. Despite that, GLSS brings a ton of momentum with them into the weekend. Zane DeVault has won two of the three shows the Series has completed, with Ohio standout, Mason Hannagan taking the other show during the $5,000 to win Run for the Rabbit at Limaland Motorsports Park. The 360 Winged Sprint cars will battle for a standard $2,500/win and $400/start Friday night.

The GLSS serves as the perfect appatiser for Saturday's High Limit Racing Sprint Car show at Butler Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 30th. For the third year in a row, Butler Motor Speedway serves as the lone event in Michigan for the High Limit Series during the Mace Thomas Classic. The first two years have sold out with standing room only available. High Limit is the only division on the card for Saturday night as they battle for $12,000 to win.

Moving out of the weekend, Owosso Speedway serves as the pavement condiment for a dirt sandwich over the course of seven days. The second race in the Race for the Million series features a $30,000 to win main event for the 410 Winged Sprint Cars on Wednesday, June 3rd. Aaron Willison grabbed the season-opening win at 5 Flags Speedway back in April. Also in action on Wednesday at Owosso are the All-Star National Pavement Midget Series. Special guest driver, Christopher Bell, will be on site racing in the Midget Series before joining the broadcast booth for the Race for the Million main event.

Finally, Hartford Speedway plays host to the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series on Friday, June 6th in the Outlaws' return to Michigan for the first time since 2019. The weekend also includes a trip to the Plymouth Dirt Track in Wisconsin. The last time the Outlaws were in Michigan they were hosted by Hartford Speedway and saw David Gravel take the Jason Johnson No.41 to victory lane.

Not to be forgotten on the 10-day stretch of racing are the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints, who offer fans a sampler size of Sprint Car racing on Saturday, May 30th at Silver Bullet Speedway and Friday, June 6th at Mt Pleasant Speedway.
