Indianapolis, IN - In November of 2024, Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park (IRP) formally introduced a new pavement midget sanctioning body that would race four events in 2025. The All-Star National Pavement Midget Series debuted on Friday, May 23rd, alongside the USAC Silver Crown Series, and ran three additional shows at IRP, including the season finale alongside the yourbigplans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour.

The draw to the All-Star Midgets was a cost-focused rule book, limiting engines to the Focus & Eco Tech engines, an $11,000 (new in 2026) claim rule, and no private testing ahead of race day.

Before the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show in December, the All-Star Midget Series announced a 2026 schedule that included three new tracks in addition to IRP. The season opens at IRP on Friday, May 22nd, returning on Thursday, June 25th. Then, Plymouth Speedway welcomes the Series on Saturday, June 27th. The Indianapolis Speedrome takes on the Midgets on Thursday, July 16th, before Anderson Speedway, home of the Little 500, hosts the All-Star Midgets on Saturday, July 18th. Plymouth Speedway hosts again on Thursday, August 6th, before IRP closes the season on Thursday, August 13th, and Saturday, October 17th.

On Wednesday, the Series announced that it will add a fifth track to the schedule alongside one of the biggest 410 Pavement Sprint Car races in the country. On Wednesday, June 3rd, the All-Star Midgets will race alongside the Race for the Million at Owosso Speedway.

"We are extremely appreciative to Owosso Speedway for including the All-Star National Pavement Midget Series on this incredible night. We are excited for the opportunity to compete on such a big stage, and we’re committed to helping make this show a great one for the fans and competitors alike." - All-Star National Pavement Midget Series

The addition of the All-Star National Pavement Midget Series brings yet another open-wheel sanction to the Ovid, Michigan facility that had been known for Template and Outlaw Super Late Model Racing. The 2026 Owosso Speedway schedule includes their house division Modifieds, the co-sanctioned Michigan Modified Series, Outlaw 350 SuperModified Sprint Series, Race for the Million, Must See Racing Winged Sprints, and the 500 Sprint Car Tour.
