Kinross, MI - Saturday night, history will be made in Michigan's Upper Peninsula when the Reveal the Hammer Outlaw Super Late Models unload for the first time ever at Kinross Raceway Park. The race, dubbed the Yooper 100, serves as the season opener for the Reveal the Hammer Series after the Berlin Raceway event originally scheduled for May 2nd was washed away.

The weekend begins on Friday, May 29th, with rotating Open Practice starting at 4:00 PM. Many teams are expected to take advantage of the practice time on Friday night in preparation for Saturday's 100-lap main event. Two additional practice sessions will unfold on Saturday, 20 minutes at a time, before single-car qualifying. Racing is set to begin at 4:00 PM with local divisions and a Last Chance Qualifier, if needed, for Reveal the Hammer. The Outlaw Late Model feature event is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.

Some of the finest Outlaw Late Model racers from Michigan, Ohio, and Ontario, Canada, are scheduled to compete for the $ 7,000-to-win top prize on Saturday night. 2025 Reveal the Hammer Rookie of the Year, Bryce Bozell, joins his father, Phil Bozell, on the 26-car official entry list. Bryce comes in hot off an Outlaw Limited Late Model (Michigan Monster Outlaws) feature win at Russell's M-40 Speedway on May 16th. The 2025 Kalamazoo Speedway Outlaw Limited Late Model Champion will race against his cousin, Mason Metzger, who also appears on the entry list.

Metzger recently made his Outlaw Super Late Model debut on Saturday, May 9th during the 4th Annual Bob Finley Memorial at Owosso Speedway. Behind the wheel of his Grandfather's (Andy Bozell) famous No.83 Metzger now eyes a chance to become the 2026 Reveal the Hammer Rookie of the Year. He recently told the Horsepower Happenings Podcast that, thanks to his successful debut at Owosso Speedway, Metzger is strongly considering a full season with Reveal the Hammer. Metzger also just picked up his first career Late Model win at Kalamazoo Speedway on Friday night.

Mark Shook, who grabbed his first win of the season at Plymouth Speedway as part of the Grand Slam opener, is expected to compete Saturday night. Shook also finished runner-up in April at Kalamazoo Speedway's, Intimidator 100, to Tyler Roahrig, who plans to keep his No.24 safely in Plymouth, IN.

Also on the list of drivers who've already won an Outlaw race this season is Middleville, Michigan's Brian Bergakker. When the Reveal the Hammer event at Berlin Raceway was rained out on May 2nd, Bergakker hightailed it to Flat Rock Speedway in Metro Detroit. Bergakker grabbed the one-off win over legendary driver Scott Hantz by a neary two-second advantage.

Several Canadian drivers are set to take on Kinross Speedway on Saturday night, including 2025 Laird Raceway Track Champion, Jordan Sims. A four-time winner at Laird last season, Sims never finished outside of the top five en route to his championship. Joining Sims is Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario native, Chase Wilson. A two-time winner at Laird Raceway last season, Wilson will compete in Jordan Rocchetta's No.33, who finished second in Laird Raceway Championship points just one year ago. Fans should also keep an eye on Sault Ste Marie, Ontario native, Jay Palumbo. A contender for the Reveal the Hammer Rookie of the Year honors in 2025, Palumbo grabbed a win over Sims in July of 2025 at Laird Raceway, giving fans a battle to keep an eye on Saturday night.

Fans who can't make the trip to Kinross Speedway Park on Saturday, May 30th, can enjoy every lap LIVE on RacingAmerica.Tv. Select coverage from the track will be available on the MARC News social media channels.
