The SuperSpeedway Podcast Now LIVE on the MARC News Network

Jonesville, MI - Race fans in and around Michigan are quickly realizing that MARCNews.org is the one-stop hub for all things circle track racing in the region. With local news and national headlines, regional photography, and captivating podcasts, fans are introduced to a smorgasbord of racing content when they find and follow MARC News. MARC News is proud to announce a new podcast will be added to the MARC News Network at the end of August.

The SuperSpeedway Podcast, featuring Eric Young and James Kuch, is the local discussion podcast for all things NASCAR. From the top of the pylon with the NASCAR Cup Series, to the storylines captivating the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and the ARCA Menards Series. The SuperSpeedway Podcast keeps fans in the know about what’s happening at the top of the motorsports world, and offers commentary on the discussion topics making the rounds in the garage area.

The SuperSpeedway Podcast joins a line-up on the MARC News Network that already includes the Horsepower Happenings Podcast, a flagship show for all things circle track racing in and around Michigan, plus the 500 Sprintcast, featuring drivers from the 500 Sprint Car Tour and USSA Kenyon Midget Series, plus the Women’s Motorsports Network Podcast, highlighting women in the motorsports industry.

For nearly a decade, fans have enjoyed The SuperSpeedway Podcast on various podcast platforms after the show was uploaded post-production. Now, fans can be part of the conversation by watching the show LIVE on the MARC News Facebook page every Tuesday night at 7:30 PM ET. Fans can hear the discussions LIVE and offer their own opinion as the show unfolds. 

The first LIVE episode of The SuperSpeedway Podcast on the MARC News Network is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25th, just in time for the start of The Chase for the Cup. The top 16 drivers racing for a Championship will be decided, and all eyes will be on Daytona International Speedway ahead of the Coke Zero Sugar 400 on Saturday, August 29th. 

About The SuperSpeedway Podcast - The SuperSpeedway was started in February 2017 by Eric Young and James Kuch after years of discussing creating a NASCAR-related podcast. Inspired by some of the other NASCAR journalists, the two friends and former coworkers took the leap to create the NASCAR-themed website that features commentary about the top tiers of motorsports, as well as occasional local racing discussion as well. Since that time Eric and James have secured credentials for a couple of NASCAR events as they continue to build their coverage of the sport they grew up loving.

About MARC News - Established in the spring of 1965, the MARC Times Racing News kept fans abreast of the sport's results, columns, photos, and much more for over 47 years. Founded by Dick and Pat Beebe in Kalamazoo, MI, the paper thrived with subscribers in all 50 States and 22 Countries.

In the 2000s, the purpose and direction of the MARC Times Racing News became unstable. As technology took over, subscribers fell, and production costs rose. Finally, sometime in the 2010s, MARC Times Racing News operations ceased.

In 2018, the Horsepower Happenings Podcast was launched by Zach Hiser and has since served as Michigan's Short Track Racing Authority, interviewing drivers and promoters during weekly shows all year long. Writen and distributed news and information, however, had always been a shortcoming.

Now, in 2026, the Michigan Area Racing Connection (MARC) strives to do in the modern age, what the MARC Times Racing News did nearly 60 years ago. A central hub for all things Michigan region auto racing. From news and results, to podcasts and photography, even job postings and columns. ​
