Marcoullier Wins Inaugural Move Over Michigan Dirt Late Model Series Event at Winston Speedway

Rothbury, MI - Friday night, the next chapter in dirt late model history was penned as the Move Over Michigan Dirt Late Model Series Presented by Kapnick Insurance Group and MacAllister CAT Rental held their inaugural event at Winston Speedway. The race, added just over a month ago, drew more than two-dozen cars to the pre-entry list, with 22 taking the green flag.

Houghton Lake, Michigan native, Dona Marcoullier, rolled from the pole after the redraw and led each of the 30 rotations around Winston Speedway to grab the inaugural win. Marcoullier's race faced challenges from the likes of Chad Finley and Logan Nickerson, who ran the No.6M down in lapped traffic.

Marcoullier's performance not only earned him the win, but also the AK Custom Apparel Lap Leader Award.

Finley and Nickerson held on to round out the podium ahead of Ryan Lanphierd, and Allstar Towing, Recovery & Salvage Fast Qualifier, Mike Spatola.

The next event for the Move Over Michigan Dirt Late Model Series is Friday, August 21st at I-96 Speedway. The Series joins an already loaded night of Dirt Late Model racing, featuring a $ 5,000-to-win, $ 500-to-start affair alongside the All-Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars.
