Jonesville, MI - On Saturday, November 14th, 20 of the most talented race car drivers from across the region will convene in Clio, Michigan for the Inaugural Horsepower Happenings All-Star Invitational Presented by Extreme Indoor Kart Racing and Entertainment Center. The race brings some of the best drivers from different disciplines across the region to race against each other for a chance at cash prizes.

Five Horsepower Happenings All-Star Invitational drivers have already been announced, including David McManus, Travis Stemler, Chase Burda, Steve Irwin, and Bryce Bozell. In addition to the 20 all-star drivers from around the region, five "ringers" will be a part of the show. The two fastest drivers from the month of September and the three fastest drivers from the month of October at Extreme Indoor Karting will get an invitation to try to join the field.

September's winners have been decided, and they proved they're fast. But, as Rowdy Burns said in Days of Thunder, "...we'll see how you do in a crowd." Montrose, Michigan native, Wade Gray turned the fastest time of September, punching in a 30.260 lap around the 1/4-mile road course at Extreme Indoor Kart Center. His time was just over three-tenths of a second off the overall course record, held by Great Lakes Lightning Sprint winner, Greyson Thompson at 29.915. Previously, Gray held the course record for five years before Greyson took the record this year.

The second fastest time of the month belongs to Birch Run, Michigan's, Owen Quinnen. Quinnen turned in a 30.719 second lap earlier in the month to earn his invite. Quinnen barely got the invite, edging out the third-fastest time of the month by just three one-thousandths of a second.

Three more "ringers" can earn their invite throughout the month of October. The three fastest times of drivers who are age 15 or older will get invites to join the 20 professional All-Stars from across the region.

The Winston Speedway 30 will feature a 12-car feature, with the top five positions set via the I-96 Speedway Dash for Cash, and the rest of the field filled in from Heat Races and B-Mains. The main event will be split into two stages, a 13-lap opening segment that pays $100 cash to win, followed by the concluding 17-lap run to the finish. The catch? At the end of stage one, the field will be fully inverted, forcing drivers to take what they learned in the opening stage and try to use it to either stay out front, or work their way back through the field.

The event is open to the public to attend and enjoy the races. Fans who can't make the trip can watch the action LIVE on www.GreatLakesSprints.TV.
