Jonesville, MI - On Saturday, November 14th, 20 of the most talented race car drivers from across the region will convene in Clio, Michigan for the Inaugural Horsepower Happenings All-Star Invitational Presented by Extreme Indoor Kart Racing and Entertainment Center. The race brings some of the best drivers from different disciplines across the region to race against each other for a chance at cash prizes.

Adding to the All-Star line-up of drivers is two-time Midwest Classic Racers (MCR) Dwarf Car Champion and ARCA Menards Series driver, Matt Kemp. A household name around the MCR Dwarf Car Series, Kemp has branched out in recent years to tackle regional racing with the ARCA Menards National and East Series.

The 2022 and 2023 MCR Dwarf Car Champion made waves with ARCA in 2025 when the Sawyer, Michigan, native qualified on the front row with the ARCA Menards East Series at Flat Rock Speedway. Kemp was less than a tenth of a second off the pole and a new track record. His first career top-five finish came later that day when he crossed the line fourth. Kemp was also awarded the Reece's Sweet Move of the Race for his crash avoidance at the exit of turn four midway through the race.

Nine other Horsepower Happenings All-Star Invitational drivers have already been announced, including David McManus, Travis Stemler, Chase Burda, Steve Irwin, Bryce Bozell, Max Stambaugh, Mason Metzger, Kyle Crump, Matthew Elsey, Jr., and Aaron Taylor. In addition to the 20 All-Star drivers from around the region, five "ringers" will be a part of the show. The two fastest drivers from the month of September (Wade Gray & Owen Quinnen) and the three fastest drivers from the month of October at Extreme Indoor Karting will get an invitation to try to join the field.

The event is open to the public to attend and enjoy the races. Fans who can't make the trip can watch the action LIVE on www.GreatLakesSprints.TV.
